The gabion defense module
The alignment and stacking of standard or custom-sized modules makes it easy to design any type of infrastructure.
METAL PANELS
The gabion panel is a rigid electro-welded steel mesh panel. It is available in 100x100mm mesh or, in its reinforced version, in 50x100mm to allow overlapping.
REINFORCED BAGS
PPH130 reinforced bags are made from quality canvas that is highly resistant to tearing, abrasion and UV radiation.
METAL SPIRAL
The spiral meets the same technical characteristics as the panels themselves. The connection is simple and does not require any special tools.
FILLING MATERIAL
The Gabion Défense® can be filled with different materials (manual or mechanical filling), as well as the “all-comers” specific to deployment zones (notably Sahel).
TRAINING
On site or in our premises, our experts are able to train your teams in the installation and maintenance of Defense Gabions.
ASSEMBLY
Our teams of specialists travel to carry out the assembly of Defense Gabions themselves, while providing you with the benefit of their expertise.
a 100% modular device
Defense Gabions are available in 3 standard sizes with a width of 1m, but also in custom sizes to meet all needs and adapt to all constraints.
They can be assembled in height (max 3m) and depth using spirals. The Defense Gabions can thus be stacked in height without having to double the lower part.
Defense Gabions
secure the borders in Benin
This report filmed by France 24 shows the Gabions Défense installations along the border between Benin and Burkina Faso (1'44'' and 6'07'').
Gabions Defense thus actively participate in the protection of the armed forces and populations against the terrorist threat.
CONCERTINA OPTION
Walls made of Defense Gabions can be topped with Concertina in a network, for more protection.
Available in galvanized steel and stainless steel, it provides effective resistance to crossing.
DOUBLE BAGS OPTION
Structures designed to last over time can benefit from lined bags. This doubling of the canvas during the bag manufacturing phase optimizes their resistance to UV rays, and therefore their longevity.
